Designed to be the world's straightest driver, Callaway's FT-i uses patented Fusion Technology that moves weight away from the Center of Gravity. The result is a driver with increased horizontal and vertical stability that maximizes distance with total accuracy.

Complete Inertial Design (CID) repositions weight to the corners of the clubhead, raising the MOI across the horizontal (IYY) and vertical (IZZ) axes. This produces unprecedented stability for ball striking across the entire face.
460cc titanium drivers have made great improvements in stability and MOI. However, the weight of titanium virtually eliminates discretionary weight distribution, which is available in the FT-i Driver. "Comp-top" drivers distribute some weight by replacing some titanium. However, it is only a fraction of that possible with an FT-i Driver. Using materials significantly lighter than titanium creates discretionary mass that is distributed to the extreme perimeter, resulting in increased stability and longer, straighter bombs down the fairway.
The FT-i Driver features the Fujikura Speeder 586 or 686 shafts which utilize patented Triax material to deliver more stability throughout the swing.
Discretionary weight distribution lets you select an FT-i Driver to fit your swing needs. For example, if you tend to hit a fade, selecting a Draw configuration can help you hit straighter, longer drives.
