Nike Juice 312 Golf Balls

The game of golf is all about precision and a whole lot of luck. It can be exhilarating to launch a ball 400 feet for that elusive hole in one that all golfers are constantly seeking. Golf, however, is not all about skill.

Skill does play a huge roll in the game and sport of golf; however it is not the be all and end all of winning. Equipment is a huge factor in how you perform. Buying a club that costs $50.00 as opposed to $300.00 will mean a huge difference on the greens. It is no wonder that the balls that you use also matters and plays a vital role.

When you first take a look at the new Nike Juice 312 ball you get the first impression that Nike is currently doing a very taught study on just how much one company can push the limitations of marketing. Looking at the price of the Juice 312 and the packaging of it pushes those boundaries quite far. It was rumored that the Juice 312 from Nike would be replacing the Mojo line of balls but there is no concrete evidence to confirm such a rumor.

Nike created the Juice 312 to be a low compression and low spin ball meant for more yardage from the tee. As I was walking about the greens between my drives and putts something caught my eye. The appearance of the Juice 312 ball was different than others I have used in the past. The dimples on the Juice 312 are a lot less than other balls on the market that have in upwards of 400 dimples. It makes the ball appear larger than others.

What else is unique is that on the alignment side of the Juice 312 is the word “Ginormous” and many people find themselves fumbling around looking for the right spot before they putt. It would have been a humorous touch from Nike if the balls in the sleeves had different but similar words on the balls.

Inside Nike Juice Golf Balls

Putting with the Juice 312 was a sheer pleasure and a lot of fun. I rolled the ball from a dozen or so distances using one of my favorite clubs; the Scotty Cameron Circa ’72 #3. At the distances I was putting from I had zero problems in sinking the putts. The ball looked and felt like it was rolling true. The feel of the Juice 312 is a lot more fun than the Maxfli Noodle control ball – it also sounded much crisper off of the face. I took it upon myself to roll off a few balls while using alternating clubs choosing the Nike One Platinum – the ton and pitch of the strike was just as good.

The Nike Juice 312 is most definitely a fun ball to putt with and with “Ginormous” staring at you the entire day you cannot help but to get pumped and play with more confidence. I you can find them on sale a dozen is well worth the price but for a two part ball with large dimples the $28.00 price tag seems a bit high.
