The investigation into the death of Suzanne Cherry, a 62-year-old woman from Aldridge, is ongoing, with three more men arrested in connection with the fatal collision that occurred at Aston Wood Golf Club in Shenstone.
- Staffordshire Police have confirmed that a 51-year-old man from Bloxwich was arrested on suspicion of murder.
- A 22-year-old man from Dudley was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and assisting an offender.
- A 41-year-old man from Worcester was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
- Two more men, aged 36 and 26, from Coseley, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the incident.
- A 34-year-old man from Wednesbury was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and is currently in custody.
The incident occurred on Friday morning, April 11, when a Nissan van was being pursued by police through Little Aston and ended up on Aston Wood Golf Club.
“Suzanne Cherry sadly died in hospital on Tuesday, April 15, after being struck by the van at 10.25am on Friday, April 11. “Officers from West Midlands Police arrested three men on Wednesday, April 16, in connection with the collision. “One of the men, a 41-year-old from Worcester, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has since been placed on conditional police bail while the investigation continues. “Officers from Staffordshire have since been granted extra time by the courts to question two other men: a 51-year-old man from Bloxwich, arrested on suspicion of murder, and a 22-year-old man from Dudley, arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and assisting an offender.”
The police are still appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward, particularly those in the area from Blake Street to Birmingham Road between Sutton Coldfield and Shenstone.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
They are asking anyone who was in the area from Blake Street to Birmingham Road between Sutton Coldfield and Shenstone at approximately 10.25am on Friday, April 11, to get in touch with them.
